This is my first attempt at fitting/making something based on hip measurement. :O!
Only two buttons. I’m not sure if I’m going to add another set. [they’re already sitting in to garment as you can see, I’m undecided!]
The fabric I used is a two-way stretch suiting material that is black with a denim look/design.
So glad I used a stretch material, very snug fit! I like it though. I am also scared of button holes! I hate making them. It’s like I’m just ripping holes in my finished hours-of-work product!
The boyfriend says he isn’t too keen on the skirt, [says they’re like just a half of a dress, pfft.] but I’m sure he’ll come around once he sees this one. :D
[Not quite sure where to wear this garment on my body yet.. My first Highwaisted piece of clothing!]

p.s – I couldn’t agree more about the button holes – I DREAD making them!!!!! makes me think I will destroy the whole garment if I mess up…
