This is a jacket from Knipmode July 2007 Mod. 19. I finished the seam allowances with a satin bias tape. The buttons are vintag glass buttons. My tip for protecting glass or other sensible buttons when washing or dry-cleaning is to wrap them with alu-foil.

This looks very sharp! I added it to my list of “Example creations” in my fabrics international wiki article on cotton!

I suspected as much (seeing that you were from Germany). I’m Dutch and used to sew a lot from Knipmode, that’s why I asked. But you did a very good job on the jacket considering you had to half guess the instructions!

Hi Lauriana! Thanks for your comment. I don’t speak any Dutch but fortunately German and Dutch are very close and that’s why I can understand most of the descriptions.

That looks great! I really like the shape of the sleeves and it’s nice to see someone finishing seams using bias tape (I’m pretty much hooked on doing that) Knipmode? Lees je Nederlands?
