This dress was made for my as level textiles project last year, i had to design and make a cocktail dress based on the trends of the 1950s. It entails a high slash neck and a full skirt at the waist with a wide lace trim.
A fascinator is also shown with the dress which i made as an accessory.
Black shot silk, wide black lace, black interfacing for shoulders and neck, black zip, hook and eye and black thread.
