This is my version of kimono dress. As you can see in fourth picture it’s basically made of 2 flat pieces of fabric, back and front, and the skirt length is adjustable at waist belt, just like kimono. Originally I came up with this idea when I was designing the dress for my friend who lives far from me and I had problem how to fit the dress to her size.
For the design of neckline I used a pattern No.10 from this Japanese book.
