I made this cardigan (to go with a skinny tie and jeans for a semi-casual day at work) from rich jersey, wristlet fabric and 5 buttons. I like how it turned out, but I wish I had went all in and picked an even nicer fabric. It was not at all complicated, I would recommend it as a beginners project.
If you have buttonhole function on your machine, the result gets very professional!
