Black and White printed dress

Added Oct 28, 2013

by Ellen Hatteland

Nedre Vats, Norway

For this dress I have used printed net fabric I bought on the internet from www.alfatex.de
It’s a very simple dress, but it’s very nice to wear on hot summerdays :)
It is based on a pattern from Bonnie 02/1996 (yes – it’s quite old..) I have used black denim jersey as bias around the neck and armholes. Cheers!

Material Notes

Thanks a lot Kocotte! I do like looking in old magazines and sometime I like to try sewing graments I did 20 years ago :-)

You are right: the dress is the greatest choice for a hot summer or for a vocation. You look nice in it and it’s clear that you feel very comfortable:-)

At home I would have to wear a top underneath, but on holiday it’s nice and comfortable :)

think they are working hard to fix this problem – and it can not be easy.. We have to be patient and cross our fingers XX
