Description

So this is my first official dress that I’ve actually finished and I’m pretty proud of it! Even though there are a few mistakes here and there (the pockets didn’t line up too well) I still think it came out pretty good.

The original pattern was the Cynthia Rowley Simplicity pattern 2250. I decided to make a few alterations to the original dress by taking out the big bow in the back.

Oh and I also whipped up the belt from some old buckles and elastic my mom had laying around.

Material Notes

Rayon thrifted for 1.99

This dress is beautiful and a very worthy first effort. I love to buy fabric at $2 a yard.
