Description
This is one of my favourite burda patterns: model 105 from Burda issue 10/2007. I made some alterations: I made cup sleeves consisted of three pieces (shown clearly at the third picture). I also made knife pleats instead of boxy ones. The topstiching all around was a bit of pain because it is all made by hand. The dress is not new, I made it more than two years ago and every new year I love it more and more. The fabric is light enough to be worn until the early summer without blouse, but also proper in the winter with turlenecks.
I hope you"ll like it as much as I do!!:))

This is one of the patterns I like, too. I’m glad to see it on a real person, sometimes it helps to decide if it’s worth making. The choice of fabric is good, it’s draping well without making extra loose around the hips. It really both fits and suits you. I like the result very much!

Hi staroks, thank you very much for your lovely comments:)
I was anxious that this pattern would be bulky with all these pleats but I finally gave it a try and since then have I used it several times and I really love it. The only problem is that it is a bit tight at the bodice and at the sleeves if you make it of a non elastic fabric, but this will be very easy for you to fix. I had tried many burda patterns for dresses and this is one of the best in my opinion. If you are interested in seeing it in different materials, I have posted a purple one and black and white as well
Kisses!!
