Description

I really like the black and white contrast look combined with a cute peter pan collar. I added banding of black around the sleeves and hem to give the edges a finish. The skirt section is in a slight tulip shape with pleats at the waistline. I used princess seams in the bodice so I could get a tight fit without using darts. The material is a double knit jersey.

    What a great ide to use black for contrast. Most pople would do other way around. Lovely little dress! And love the mountains on the background :)

    Great shape! I would never have guessed this was jersey, I guess because of the structure of the double knit.

      I really like that about double knit, its much stiffer so you can make pleats that will actually hold and give the fabric some shape. Double knits are my new favourite material!
