An overbust corset, This is only the second corset I have ever sewn. I kind of ended up sewing this in a mixed up way as adding the white appiques was a last minute decision. ( I do that a lot, start out making one thing and the finished result is something completely different). What you maybe can’t see on the picture is that the white appiques have silver sequins on them and i stitched some wavy black and silver ribbon to itt. ( i know there is a proper name for it beginning with R but i just can’t remember it.
Spring steel boning, White appliques, black polyester maybe, It's a ribbed fabric with absolutely no stretch, white satin bias binding and white cotton drill for the lining.

Very nice. Exceptionally good for a corset beginner ;) Look forward to seeing more (I have made several, they are wonderfully comfortable). Lots of fabric and lace combinations. GO YOU!

Use rigid bones for the grommets and you can make an even closing at the back.Congratulations!

I drafted the pattern myself. I bought a corset making course online with 20 patterns to adjust to personal size. Was only £20 and I love it. Google express corsetry course.
