I liked making this skirt a lot. The fabric makes me think of Chanel or something : ). Anyway, I had some trouble with the zipper and waistband facing, but otherwise it went pretty smoothly. This is my 3rd creation from a Burda pattern, and I think I keep choosing one size too large. Oh well. I can’t wait to wear this, though — when it gets a bit warmer in NY state!

The contrasting fabrics are so well matched, even though the ornaments aren’t the same. I like it very much!
