I made a classic pencil skirt based on the Burda pattern 07/2012_120 that features a really high waist and curved front darts which start at the side seam right at waist level. This skirt has a straight silhouette and a back vent. This skirt just hugs you and accentuate your curves. The fabric is bielastic wool, thus providing a very high level of user comfort of the garment.
Another part of the black and white ensemble is a scarf top in jersey based on this Burda pattern. The magazine proposes a casual version in grey jersey, but in my opinion, it shows its potential in the best way when sewn in white (or black), so you can wear it to the office, a presentation, or an important meeting. Perfect when paired with clean, tailored pieces and muted accessories.
