I made this dress using the top part of New look 6644, without the draped midriff, but i had to make the skirt pattern because i only had 1 and 1/4 meter of this fabric, so i couldn’t make the original skirt, that is a little more full and gathered. I like my version anyways, maybe because i’ve been hording this fabric for so long and finally found the right project to use it. I lined the top part with white cotton and added a little hot pink grosgrain ribbon as belt, tied with a bow.
