Why do I sew white dress?
The idea was the following: an amateur photographer wrote to me that he would like to make a photosession with me, but he got a vision about a white airy dress … how do you think what bought me more: the photo session itself, or the fact that I could sew this dress? There is not much to guess – it was a dress. Then follows just nicely spent time, allowing the man to experiment with his camera. Here meet two amateurs – now you just should assess how each of us did perform.
I sew the dress from chiffon, in fact, the fabric color is not quite pure white, but more like milk color. An interesting effect came from lace, which actually were meant for the neckline notch, but I like it. For the first time my sewing machine gave a trouble, probably was not accustomed to such a thin and slippery fabric. But I found a compromise and at the end the work went smoothly.
And now remains an open question – what should I do with the dress because it is sewn purely out of artistic purpose… sitting and thinking: if I have to wear it, what should I wear with it? Where to use it? At an event? Maybe the dress needs a re-make? Hmmm … such thoughts I have, please help with advice:)
