This top is one of my favourites. I used a thin yet stretchy drapy knit with thin black and royal blue stripes. I drafted the pattern for the t-shirt from one that I had years ago. I use it as the base for all my knit tops and dresses.
I modified the sleeve pattern to make cowl sleeves using instructions I found at
