made in black polyester viscose, with cream bows. back zip fastening.

I’m sure this is from vintage vogue V2787. I did start to make the dress, but the fabric I had chosen was too bulky and the seems puckered way to much so I gave up! (another UFO to my pile) Yours is a great version, i may revisit that style after all!

ur right it is a vouge pattern. i filed the pattern away and don’t have time to check with preperations for christmas. But my pattern was an origional vintage one from the 1940s. it was given to me by my boyfriends father. His mother was a dressmaker in the 30’s and 40’s, and when she died the year before last they gave me everything including this pattern. So as a tribute to her and to show my thanks i’ve been making the patterns up.
