Description
This is a wallet I made from the tutorial of Very Purple Person.
I downloaded it about a year ago, but never dared to get my hands into it.
It’s supposed to be a present for a dear friend and sister in law (but it’s too cute, I can’t believe I made that! so now I want to keep it hahahaha)
I tweaked it a bit, I added a strap of fabric and didn’t bind it, and it is 100% interfaced on every piece of fabric.
I looooooooove it and I hope she does too = )
Material Notes
Cotton, recycled denim and velcro closure from hubby’s pants, light weight fusible interfacing, zipper.

Life is a bad joke! I made this with love for my dear friend and sister in law…her wallet broke and she bought a Kenneth Cole one! She still doesn’t know I made this, her birthday is next week. I am anyways giving her this but I must must must and have to think of another present.

Thank you Maggie! Keep trying and you’ll get it done too :). The first wallet I made was the mini wallet from verypurpleperson and though I did it paciently I sewed the cars slot the wrong way and so I cant get any cards on the lil wallet bc they fall.

I’ve never thought about adding velcro- I’ve been adding buttons and button holes as closures for the wallets I’ve been making as a substitute for clip closures/ magnets I don’t have- Velcro is the solution!!! Thanks I can’t believe I didn’t think about it sooner. Great Wallet!!

Thank you! I can’t take credit for the velcro closure idea, it’s on the tutorial. I did rip off a velcro closure of one of the pockets of the pant :D

Thank you! I fell in love with that fabric, I bought it to make a dress but this came first.
