This is the first thing I have ever done in my sewing life. I wanted to make something original for my Birthday and just loved the colour of this material.
It has taken me a while to get it done but I am very pleased with the final look. I decided to do a zip on the outside of the skirt- rather than it be hidden as I loved the contrast against the pink.
I can not wait to start wearing it!
A Large range of fabrics could have been used.

Hey, the pattern is number 2512 by Cynthia Rowley for Simplicity. I didnt add the belt strap detail as I wanted to wear my own belts with it!
Thanks for all your lovely comments. I am very proud!!
