Burdastyle 10-2011-128 bow tie blouse and 10-2011-126 Waistcoat.
I used a chiffon (?) fabric for the blouse with a retro bird print and paired it with the waistcoat made in corduroy with a charmeuse satin back and lining.
Polyester chiffon blouse.
Cotton corduroy and polyester charmeuse satin for the vest.

Thanks – I wasn’t sure I would be able to match the corduroy colour but was lucky and found a satin to match.

Love it! I was wearing my sorbetto from the same fabric yesterday. I’ve got heaps left so I might have to try something similar!

Thanks – it is cute fabric! Maybe I should make a Sorbetto from the piece I have left! Lucky we live on opposite sides of Australia! :)

Though it would be kind of fun to turn up to a party to find someone else there in exactly the same home made outfit :)
