I used the Obi Apron pattern as an inspiration. I used a rectangle of fabric that I gathered and sewed to a waistband made of 2 layers of fabric. I put a zipper in the back and sewed 2 ties on each side of the zipper so I could tie a bow in the front. I absolutely love the high waistband, the huge bow and the 50s look.
