I followed the pattern for the wonderful Kasia skirt, but I eliminated the gathers from it. The gathers bulked up awkwardly on my hips for me.
This is my first Kasia skirt that I made out of two versions.
Polyester fabric with colorful birds on it, clear buttons with dried blades of grass stuck in between (doesn’t photograph well, but there are lines that don’t match the fabric).

The buttons have blades os grass in them?? I’d love to see them up-close..and the skirt looks really cute.
