I decided to try the Bikini pattern, I didn’t like the bottoms as they just didn’t cover enough. So I used the pattern for the mens swim shorts instead. I really like how the whole thing looks. Fits really well. I didn’t hem the shorts instead did an overcast stitch which kind of made the hem a little ruffled. I changed the top also I added a 5/8" band around the bottom of the cups (stuff was falling out) and put a tie that knots into a bow at the centre, that seemed to help alot. I won’t assault you with pictures of me wearing it. But if your in Cuba in November you just might see me wearing it on the beach.
Print double knit.

Gorgeous bikini! That is just the sort of thing I like when it comes to swim wear. Great job.

Thanks for reminding me that there is a Burda bikini-pattern, I have been thinking about making one for my holidays! I definitely prefer your version with the boyshorts though, and also the wider bands look better. Really well done, you’ve inspired me!

I like this revision. Is the bottom still called “boy trunks” or is there a newer term? Have a great trip. I will think of you with each helping of turkey. ;) Nehmah
