Sydney Again., A...
Since I’ve moved to Canberra I’ve been riding my bike everywhere so wearing a skirt is a rarity.
Since I hate “skorts”, I made this skirt so I can ride my bike and not have to worry about the wind blowing up my skirt and revealing too much.
It’s pleated at the top, and the lining is a pair of shorts underneath.
The top is some silvery white fabric from Mood, I’ve worn it three tines and already holes are starting to appear in the seams. The neckband took me ages but it’s the best one I’ve made so far. I use very thin fold over elastic (from Tessuti’s) as it is not too heavy.
stretch floral cotton from Denver fabrics
slivery white jersey from mood.
