This is a big receiving blanket made for a baby due in December. I took 2 yards of knit and cut it in half. Then I hemmed the edges and to close it, I put a decorative stitch all the way around. It’s so cute and warm. It’s too layers to keep baby warm, yet big enough to last for several months.
2 yards knit. Joanne fabric does have receiving blanket material.
