I really love it to sew easy and fast to make items like those skirts with elastic at the top. And since I had already made my circle skirt pattern (see my summer vintage skirt) this skirt was ready to go in less than 2 hours =)
It consists of two circle skirt layers (chiffon) and an underskirt in blue jersey, so the skirt isn’t quite as sheer.
I used my serger to create my beloved rolled hem <3
The design and colors of the fabric really intrigued me and I kind of think of the jungle and rain forest every time I look at it, hence the name ^^
