Thanks! The pattern is really great- it comes together quickly, the construction is fun, and the insides look pretty, which is always a plus!

No, definitely no serger required! I don’t have one… I used a stretch stitch on my machine that looked like this with my overedge foot (sorry, my manual didn’t name it):

I’m sure a narrow zig zag would be fine as well.
