Description

I find it rather annoying that designers believe that if you have a large chest area you would (or shouldn’t) want to wear a very trendy Bralet. So for my boyfriend’s nineteenth i decide that i’d make my own. I’d brought a paisley print full length skirt from a charity shop, i cut and frayed the top half to make a lovely edgy mini. Now i had a use for the bottom! I shoved it on my mannequin and just started pinning for the sake of it! I folded the back into an origami style pleats and made the front come down to cover the rolls where my bra digs in (cheeky). The fabric was slighty stretchy so it would go over my chest then i attached ribbon with wonder web, a sweet heart neck line and viola! Even looks lovely over a shirt :D

Lovely! You look smashing. :-) I had to laugh when I read your description, though. I’m small boobed and I wear bralets (which in the U.S. are like beginner’s bras - no underwire, usually pull over the head). I got the impression they were considered inferior because lingerie departments have tons of bras and only a few bralets. It’s a pleasant surprise to me that they’re trendy! ;)
