My daughter really wanted to be a scary wolf for Halloween and I couldn’t find a child pattern. So this is a modified version of a Simplicity pattern for a monkey. She acted scary, but was the costume was sweet for a 4 year old on Halloween. A lot of people said it looked like Max from Where the Wild Things Are. I made a quick hooded cape for me to play along with her.

Oh my! These photos surely brightened my mood! Your daughter will understand one day what a lucky girl she is having such a mother – both as a personal seamstress, who is very good at sewing and pattern altering/making and also as a friend, who likes to have fun with her and comes up with such cute ideas!!!
