This is the same model as for the ‘Bias plaid skirt’ I posted earlier – BWOF 10/2005 #121. This time I used brown fabric with pale pink plaid details that I cut on bias. I trimmed it with pleated tulle (that I pleated) stitched to the hem and beaded tulle band stitched above the hem. I like this skirt, but the tulle I used is really rough and it pulls the treads of the tights :(.
I removed the tulle trim and here are the new photos of the skirt.

Very pretty! Too bad for the tulle…what if you sew another double folded bias strip over the tulle hem…might make it too heavy..

Love your skirt, love the tull beneath. Your look is great too

I love the sequin details and the pleated tulle. It defenitly adds personnality to the skirt! Dark pink and grey is a winner combination!

I love the detail of the tulle, which is a fabric I’ve used recently. I’d used a soft tulle to make a petticoat for a skirt and I don’t have that problem… Try to use opaques tights, thicker than the others. Nevertheless, you have a lovely skirt.

Predivno! Gledala sam isti kroj i razmišljala o šivanju. Još se nisam odlučila. Tvoje obje su predivne! Kao i sve dosad!!!

I like the sequins an dtulle, they really “pimp up” the skirt. Maybe just switch for a softer tulle in the same color?
