Description

This was my intermediate sewing class final. We were provided with the base pattern for a backless bias-cut top and our test was to cut, sew, and embellish the garment in 4 hours. I’m happy to say that I finished within the time limit and got high marks!

I’m considering altering this to be a long bias-cut gown.

Material Notes

rayon/synthetic crepe from a discount bin, gunmetal-finish chain and rings, freshwater pearls.

I LOVE this! Was this pattern a part of your class materials, did you draft it yourself or is it a commercial pattern? I would really love to make a top or dress like this, so figure flattering!

The pattern was provided to students as part of the in-class exam.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a scanner so I am unable to digitize patterns. I also don’t know the original source of the pattern, so I don’t feel comfortable distributing it without proper attribution. :(
