I needed a machine washable blouse for work so I chose the classic Hepburn style blouse shown in Burda’s 06/2011 issue with black cotton lawn. Contrasting white satin bias binding was used to finish the neckline and the sleeve hem instead of facing as recommended by the instruction. The bias binding was first machine sew to the blouse then hand slip stitched to finish. I also made a removable clip-on corsage with the left over fabric. You can see more details on my blog post:
