Description

I get this beautiful bi-color fabric in an old market in Amsterdam. Both colors look great togheter. They are tornasol crash tafet.
Initially I made the pink blouse with lateral seems and wired collar. the pattern is very easy and simple. I get it from Patrones Magazine (Spain).
I added some olive details in the collar, sleeves and bottom ruffles.
There was enough olive fabric left to made a simple waisted skirt to combine together, also Patrones pattern.
Later on, I improvised to wear the skirt with a silk red blouse (JJ 6009 adding a collar) and I really love it.
I wear it with both blouses and looks great

Material Notes

Tornasol crash tafet ( I get it for just 1 euro each meter)

Very nice! The first blouse’s pattern looks very interesting (unususally cut). The second outfit is awsome! I like the constrasting colors, and the accessories (matching belt and a bag). Very stylish!

Wow!You did a wonderful job of getting two totally different outfits. I love the button detail on the red blouse and especially the topstitched waist on the skirt, although it was the other blouse that immediately drew me in. Good job
