Unfortunately I am in a bit of a sewing comfort zone. I keep sewing the same dress in different fabrics.
But I added a detachable bow belt this time.
Sun dresses with self-drafted bodice. The skirt is just two 56cm lengths of fabric sewn together and gathered. Bodice is lined with cotton voile.
The belt has a pair of hammer on hooks and eyes for closure.
Aprox 2.60 meters of Cotton quilting fabric ($3 a meter years ago from Spotlight), Cotton voile (forget how much) I used one of the cheap 30cm white invisible zips I bought on Ebay.
Hammer on hooks and eyes. Gutterman Polyester thread

Very cute! I am similar…I have a bodice block that I use for everything, and I just change the skirts. I’m thinking about doing something different, but then I’m scared it won’t be the cute, well-fitting cut I like. Great job!

That bow really adds a lot! I don’t see any problem with the same dress over and over again if it works, as yours obviously does!
