These are so cute! I’ve always wanted to make one of these kinds of bags, I just never really ever saw a pattern for them. Did you use one?

Yeah, the blue bag is made from a sturdier fabric and is also lined. The floral bag is made from a soft thrifted sheet/tablecloth and is not lined, the seams are covered with binding.

The first bag definitelly looks much better on bigger picture… so I guess it must be awesome in reality! The fabric is very nice. And the pattern! I love the pattern! I think it looks better made from the more firm fabric.

The outer fabric on this bag is some upholstery type fabric i bought from the $2 rack at one of my local fabric stores ages ago. The red polka dot lining was found in a box of fabrics donated to me by a friends Mum.
