I decided to take up Sew Weekly’s challenge from last week: sew something inspired by an American designer. I chose to emulate Betsey Johnson’s whimsical, feminine, embellished style with vintage hints.

Yes, this is very well-crafted and the choice of fabric and the details are just really, really wonderful. The only thing is I believe this beautiful dress as executed is suited more for a young girl verses an adult woman.
