A wow combination of fabric, texture and my inspiration, and this is a classic interpretation of my favorite designer. I used Burda 7556.
Velvet for the top, a very stretchy velvet.
Netting for the bottom. I chose one with a sturdy hemline and I did not need to hem this piece.
Long zipper, like 24 inches.
Practice the stretch stitches on the fabric and use a jersey knit needle for your sewing machine for the velvet.
Plan to clean your machine as the velvet will be invasive.
