Another costume I made for my brother’s girlfriend that I’m going to force her to wear it again for Halloween since it took me forever to make. The dress is made from a corset pattern with the skirt flaps sewn onto the bottom. Everything was made from brown pleather, including the armbands, wristbands, shoulder pads and kneepads. The gold detail was done with metallic Puffy paint. The breastplate was formed using pieces of foil hot glued into layers onto a piece of epoxy-ed fabric. Then it was painted then epoxy-ed over to make it smooth and glossy.
Faux leather, gold puffy paint, grommets, elastic, jean rivets, cardboard (for shoulder pads), aluminum foil, epoxy.
