Fairy costume made for my college age daughter, put together from all thrift shop garments. Started with a lace bridal bustier; cut the elastic hook closure off the back, and added panels with grommets for lacing. Embellished with pieces cut from a beaded blouse-used for the side skirt panels, and appliques on the back. Front has a ribbon rose with sequins and bead fringe. Pleated satin ribbon with tulle, and velvet ribbon at the bustline. Skirt was made of an old dress lining, and tulle (which my daughter took the scissors to, and “restyled”! You can see the original skirt on the dress form ). She added store bought wings….
