Child’s Tinker Bell costume.
I drafted this myself for my 4 year old daughter after finding no authentic looking Tinker Bell patterns. The dress is fully lined, and has a small bit of elastic at the front for some shaping. I used sheer nude knit straps, and painted the wing elastic flesh toned to keep the dress looking strapless.
I painted an old pair of shoes matching green, and made my own pom-poms using cardboard doughnuts and some pretty white yarn with silver thread in it.
She loves this, and wants to wear it as a play dress even before Halloween!
The dress is glitter satin, lined with beautiful crinkle polyester.
