Character is from a video game I play called starcraft 2 wings of liberty. The character the infested alien queen of the zerg, she used to be human, Her name is Sarah Kerrigan or the Queen of Blades
This costume took me about 3 months of work and about 1 year of prep and research. Even though it doesn’t look it most of it is sewn. I started with a corset made from scratch then painted over with latex then added spandex sleeves and gloves. For the neck I made a neck corseted also painted over with latex. for the molding I used latex for a textile called wonder flex which is a plastic in fused cheesecloth type of of material.
I commissioned the wig from Aria Darling and wings but everything else I molded and sewed. My mother helped me with the fitting and parts that were impossible to do on my own like latex painting the spandex on my back.
