This Southern Belle costume is my absolute favorite costume I have made so far! I love the 1850-60’s! I love that I can bring that style back, through my work. I spent about five days and 75 hours; once I got started I just couldn’t leave it alone!

Incredible! You paid attention to so much detail and really captured the “southern belle” style. This is great inspiration, too. I’ve recently moved to South Carolina and thought about being a southern belle for Halloween next year. Thanks for a fantastic example! -Megan (www.thegirldontdrinksweettea.blogspot.com)

Lovely details! Well put together! Did you base this on a pattern or was it all draped?
