My costume this year is a sea turtle! It was inspired by a “Planet Earth” documentary.
I constructed the shell using fiberglass and resin, the base of the shell is "wafer wood", with Sector 9 longboard trucks and wheels mounted underneath for cruisin'. The hood, neck, fins, and tail are made with a "snake skin" fabric. The fins and tail are stuffed with styrofoam bean bag stuffing. The beak is a dust mask.
