Burda Style For people who sew

I made a Mungojerrie costume based on Will Porter’s awesome portrayal (http://www.will-porter.com) from the ‘10/’11 season of CATS for the US Tour. I decided to make a Mungojerrie costume after Will put me on his website listing me as their biggest fan as a thank you for being sweet and never failing to make me laugh. :) Will, you rock! :) I love this show so much!

Material Notes

I made the wig from scratch with pantyhose, tulle, crepe wool hair, kanekalon fiber, yarn, and a copious amount of hairspray. I made the unitard from scratch with lycra and painted it with jacquard lumiere, setacolor, and versatex. I sewed satin and organza "fluffies" on the chest and shoulders. The tail was made from yarn. I painted the jazz shoes with jacquard lumiere paint. Although I knit, these warmers were made by my very talented friend, Erynn! <3
