Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I’ve made a folklore blouse in white cotton, (inspired by the mermaid Ariel’s clothes), and a blue denim corset without boning with a red polyester ribbon. The black chiffon skirt is decorated with embroyderies in silver.
The blouse is thin and very light, “fluffy” with long arms. It can be tied at the front, and it can be unbuttoned at the front.
The skirt is also very light, but the waistband is quite heavy. It’s wide and “flapping”.
The corset is not, as you can see, figure made. I decided to make it easy, since it’s a Halloween costume. This makes it easier to put on and take off.
