This is my classic, comic book style Wonder Woman costume!
*
The foundation for the top is a very modified longline bra. I covered it in red satin by draping and hand stitching it. The appliques are done in stretch vinyl.
*
The bottoms are appliqued with ready-made stars.
*
The cape is made from light-weight poly satin lining. It is constructed with flat-felled seams, so it looks nice from both sides. I hemmed it with a narrow rolled hem foot. The curved hem combined with the slippery fabric was a bit of a challenge!
*
The cuffs and crown are made with the same stretch vinyl. The stars are done in reverse applique.
