Description
This dress was made of real purple and green cabbage. It was not easy – purple cabbage made my hands blue, but green cabbage was very weighty – the weight of this costume was almost 15 kg!
My inspiration for this dress was:
1) Lady Gaga meat dress – it is so exciting to make something wearable from something eatable!
2) Discount on cabbage in supermarket MAXIMA. Very inspiring price – 9 santims for 1 kg :)
I hope you like it.
P.S. Halloween is not very popular in Latvia. We prepare harvest fest or Mārtiņi as it is called in my country. So, I can say, that my costume is based on Latvian traditions too.
P.S.2 After wearing this dress, it was donated to local goats :) (3rd picture)
