Description

When I asked my five year old what he wanted to be for Halloween last year he said an angler fish. Always up for a challenge I started working. The fish base is from an out of print Simplicity pattern and I made alterations to the tail and fins to make them look a little more like a scary deep sea fish. I also added teeth, lights, a lure, and big bulging eyes.

crepe back satin, foam, vinyl, plastic Christmas ornaments (eyes and lure), plastic tubing, wire, lights, ribbon

    Awesome job!!! I have the pattern simplicity 4926 kids fish costume. made my grandson Gold Fish costume about 3 years ago, checked it is out of print.
