Description
Well, this time my client ask me to design a dress “fit for a princess”, and I though that a Maria Antonieta queen of France was a good inspiration at the time, so…..look at a few pictures, talt about the type of corset (pushing the bust up) and…..that was it!!! made a fast drawing, came out with the lace and look for the strong golden silk to go unde the silk and give it this wonderfull color…..and the client just adore it!!! so….here it is the dress, with a very happy bride ready for the great day and the superb party!!!! Note: under the dress, there is the bustier that pushes up the bust, and an enormus crinoline!!! By the way: this dress is going to be exibit at the National Theatre of Costa Rica, as part of an exibition of dresses made by the inspiration of another times…… The inspiration period was 16 century, France.
Material Notes
Antique pink and silver lace……with 100% silk lining in strong gold color.

Dear Adriana!! Love all your garments, I was so ready for voting on this but I am so dissapointed not to see any of your garments on the finalist list! It is always the same!! that is why I didnt take part on these competitions!! I am sure your client was extremely happy on this project. At least 150 hours…..It does not show, but it has lots of hand work, and lots and lots of hours in basting…..all the inside is finished by hand…..the veil had to be worked in a special way, join at the center because it is so wide….but the result was good, and that is the main thing.
