This beautiful dress was inspired by the French 1740s. The dress has cowled side panels that suggest the paniered dresses (big fake hips) worn by women in this time period, and the ribbons tie up the back like the lacing in the inspiration dress. I love Paniers, it was such a crazy idea.
This was my first time working with the slippery satin and I LOVE how it worked out; I will most definitely do it again! I was dancing around my living room with the panels of fabric.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
