Audrey Hepburn has allways been an icono of class and elegance to me…..so….when I saw the pictures of her wedding with Mel Ferrer in 1956, I could see….a beautifull white blouse…….with puff sleeves …..and I decided to make this 2 piece outfit. With this white silk organza blouse, I added a tulip skirt in the most beautifull silk duppiony that is color: blue-emerald green. Then I finished with a belt made of 5 spaguetty straps made in the silk duppioni, and of course…..the flowers……made with bits of material in bright red and strong pink, allways running…..but is here. Can you see Audrey in this outfit?? I can!!!
Silk duppioni, Silk organza, and bits of materials for the flowers.

Gorgeous blouse and the colour of the skirt is divine. Audrey Hepburn is THE fashion Icon for me and that is saying something, since I’m not into this celebrity mania that there is today. She had class, she had style, a non-conventional but beautiful face and she was graceful even though she was very tall. Thank you for this, when I see Audrey Hepburn inspired outfits, it brings a smile to my face. I might have to watch “Funny Face” again tonight… :-)
